12-Week Program • June–August 2026
Set the foundations for your next big career project
while designing the life that makes it possible
June 15 – August 14, 2026 • All sessions on Zoom • Forever access to recordings
Is your life optimally designed to support your next big career project? If not, let's get to work on it — while also getting your project in motion.
Countless artists have dreams of creating projects of their own: albums, shows, books, music, businesses, organizations, and more. You can absolutely begin making progress now, no matter your situation.
But wouldn't it also be nice to feel that your life could be designed in such a way to support your creative flourishing?
Imagine this
Your income supports your basic needs and your ability to invest in yourself, with an appropriate balance of time and energy so your work doesn't consume your life.
Your days leave you with quality waking hours to devote to your projects and time for yourself and your family, not just scraps at the end of a long day.
You're interconnected with a network of supportive, aligned people, which is essential for bringing projects to life and experiencing professional and personal satisfaction.
With these foundations, any project you desire becomes more possible.
It's not an overnight fix — your optimal life design is a project in itself.
But why not begin? After all, your life is also your life's work.
What's included
This 12-week program gives you the essential tools and mindset necessary for transforming your career through the meaningful projects you choose.
90 minutes each, on topics fundamental to any project's success — specifically oriented toward music and the performing arts.
Hands-on exercises to reinforce the concepts and accelerate progress in your own specific projects.
Real-time sessions where you can bring your questions and get answers from experienced coaches and peers.
Tailored support from two music industry veterans to help plan your project and set it up for success.
All sessions take place on Zoom and are recorded. You'll have permanent access to revisit every seminar and coaching call.
Like-minded professionals who will become lifelong colleagues and friends — a network that supports you long after the program ends.
Should you choose to enroll in the 2026 ArtsMBA cohort, the cost of Foundations will be applied to that program. This program also serves as foundational preparation for the larger 6-month ArtsMBA program.

Understanding your venture's financial engine — tools to help you grasp and protect your project's fiscal health.
Business creation, income generation, and fundraising — guidance written specifically for artists.
Clarifying your offer — how to make your pitch more compelling and inspire others to support your vision.
Project management concepts and techniques that clarify every dimension of your project, from what you're creating to the administrative scaffolding it needs.

Author, Editor & Project Management Expert
Jonathan Feist has spent the past thirty years helping artists and professionals transform their lives and empower their careers through books, audio recordings, educational videos, and online courses. As editor-in-chief of Berklee Press, he helped more than 200 Berklee College of Music faculty members develop and bring their ideas to market.
Thousands of Berklee students have benefited from his online course Project Management for Musicians — and his book of the same name. What students say
"I had a belief I would never become a business woman. That's one of the biggest changes from working with Jennifer. Since then, I feel like 'absolutely, I'm a business woman.' I've seen growth ever since I started working with her.
This is the first time I've paid so much for a program. I started seeing that it is so valuable and also, I made my money back quite quickly. That helped me raise my prices too.
The people she brings together are really amazing. It was a no-brainer for me to repeat the program."
"Jennifer transformed my teaching career. I'm able to spend time teaching the people I want to work with and focus on the material that's important to me.
It leaves me more time for my life. I get to spend more time with my family, and worry about money a lot less!
Jennifer is great at both helping you set realistic goals while also expanding your idea of what's possible. She always comes at it from the standpoint of what do you want? and then putting together the steps to make it happen."
"Jennifer has seen things in me that I didn't see. I learned that it is possible, even with my limited time (as the mother of a young child), to have a successful business, to have fun, and to even have time for playing, for songwriting, for creative projects.
Jennifer always had the biggest worth for me as a role model. Watching her courage and wisdom, and how she doesn't follow any rules but creates her own. That has been the biggest impact for me.
She also draws such amazing people into her groups. That has been a huge part of my happiness and fulfillment because I'm surrounded by like-minded people who inspire me."
Your optimal life design is a project in itself — one that requires clarity, deliberate action, and patience. Why not begin now?
